I've bought a lot of Toshiba drives in the past and have had great luck with them. This was actually done to add a 4th drive to a RAID 5 array of the same series that is over 4 years old. This one lasted exactly 27 days and started having bad sectors and slowing down. Barely had time to use the drive. Luckily I have 30 days left on Revain. For the price, a faster, more reliable NAS and enterprise drives from WD and Seagate are better choices. When the old Toshiba units are gone I will replace them all instead of replacing these newer versions. Lesson learned, no more Toshiba hard drives.
