Review on Moroccan Poufs Ottomans Footstools Unstuffed Home Decor by Joseph Quade

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fab but expect some air and maybe be careful if you have a dog!

First let me say that it is absolutely amazing and the details are perfect! I ordered white and it really is pure white. I've read reviews about the smell and how it should be ventilated etc. Personally I'm not sensitive to smells like some and tend to dwell on it until the product fixes its kinks. However, knowing what the stool was made of, I ordered it anyway (emotionally on the fence / feeling a little bad - "yes, I am that person") but thought it would be the perfect addition to my zen space. Received quickly, opened and oh my god! It has a really weird smell. It's not your typical leather smell (remember it's goat skin - I guess. So here's my best description: tobacco leaf meets cow dung and wild skin, sort of smell. Yes I said that lol but remember that it's not that it's an absurdly bad smell, but it's definitely a bad one, and it's not something you can immediately install in your room Great Dane and the smell was driving him insane like he was chasing prey. (grew up from a puppy and now 5 so I know my boy well). Angry in every direction I got him airing in. He just could. I can't calm him down which, I promise, for his Personality is atypical. I went through hell for almost 2 weeks waiting for all the planets to align but I had to go back to keep my sanity and my dog's! Even after packing/sticking along e his duct tape, he knew which car I put him in for the night. Obviously this is just my experience and I think/hope most dogs will not have the same experience. If you have a guard dog/strong dog (with super powers I think) this is just something to consider. I am giving 4 stars because the stool is great and if you have the time, patience and a cool pet this could be your thing. Namaste!
