Review on Enhance Your Jobsite Visibility with DEWALT Headlamp: 200 Lumen Power (DWHT81424) by Jim Reinhardt

Used to be a good flashlight. 😣

Sometimes a portable flashlight is just meant to be a headlamp. A new designer walks in and the first thing that comes to mind is "People want more features”. No, that is not so. You should be able to touch control any flashlight, portable or not. If you try to control this flashlight by touch, you can start blinking in morse code for an SOS signal. I know some DeWalt designer pats himself on the back and brags about his "improvements". This model is not an improvement. If you think a programmable flashlight is an improvement, go ahead. Greatest lipstick on a pig ever? WiFi flashlight. The biggest upgrade this flashlight could get is a return to the old model where you twisted the dial for high and low light and pressed the same button to turn it on and off. Dewalt flashlights, although the straps wear out quickly, it's best to buy used. And that really gives you a headache.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
