The name for this design is 'Birds on a Wire' which honestly does not do them justice. But then the simple country flavor does. I purchased these for my bread making area on my coffee bar. I've got a French Country style to my kitchen, and these enhance that, along with just make me smile. I love to hear the birds in the Springtime! I'll open the doors and windows to just listen to the birdsong. And maybe that's what I would have named this design. Bird Song. I like this design so much, I'll pick up the matching kitchen towel and place mat sets!I just wish that they would put their 'Basse-cour' country rooster design onto place mats.Ok, I've waxed on long enough about loving the design. Let's get down to practicality.This is a set of an oven mit and pot holder. They are nicely cushioned and provide enough thickness to them that you're not rushing the 400 degree bread pan out of the oven to clank on the counter. This cushions you from the heat so you can comfortably remove items from the oven, or the bread pan from the bread maker.There are loops on both to hang them nearby.
