I have had trouble melting this solder even in extreme temperatures around 700F. I've also had the occasional few splatters that I believe were soldering flux (though only occasionally, and I've never burned). Melting point: I tried soldering some pins onto the board. The plastic holding the connector pins together melted under the board before the solder even melted and the pin started slipping, which was a headache because I then had to desolder this hard-to-melt material, which made cleaning the wick almost useless though Task. I appreciated the thinness but that's all. I'll probably use a different brand next time.
