Review on 🛵 GY6 Engine Rebuild Kit 150cc Big Bore Cylinder Head Chinese Scooter - GOOFIT 57.4mm Bore Cylinder Kit by David Golden

I returned this kit, when I opened it the piston wasn't in the box it was in the cylinder. The piston had a dent right at the top edge, the cylinder looked good but there were air bubbles in the casting in the head. And part of it is missing 1/2" x 1/4" to the right of the top of the valve. The kit included roller weights for the variator, the weights were completely filled with very heavy weights, I had never seen anything like that. The bubbles in the head cast bothered me because that means there are air bubbles that you don't see, it was definitely a bad cast. For this project I bought an engine drill tool and a large crank from a local moped shop for less than the internet. I have to send them back too. The 150cc kit costs a lot more. I bought an air filter from Gufit, which I also had to send back, on the one hand it was broken and re-glued. It should have been thrown away, instead it was repaired and sold. That might be fine for Chinese but not for US, defective products should be marked as such.
