This monitor has a display port (DP) for connecting a display port. No HDMI cable is supplied. Also, this monitor does not support daisy chaining via DP with other monitors. I use it with a Dell docking station which only has 1 HDMI port and 1 mini DP port. I have two of these monitors. One is connected to the HDMI port and works fine. The one connected to the mini DP port had issues where when the computer went to sleep the monitor would cycle on and off looking for a signal. This is a known issue at Dell. I switched to a mini DP to HDMI cable for the second monitor and now I have no more issues. Bottom line: If you buy this monitor, plan on connecting it only via HDMI to avoid problems.
