Oh my god. So let's start by saying that the "60 degree spiral" doesn't look like the picture at all. It's not 60 degrees horizontal, it's 60 degrees vertical, so instead of the router shown in the photo, you're getting this thing that looks more like a lead screw on a 3D printer than a consumer CNC end mill. And while this is probably normal for most CNCs, it's a big problem for Shapeoko. On the first cut, when the drill moved about 60% of what I normally use with the trusted 4-blade 30-degree end mill, at a shallower depth of cut it still managed to grab the edge of the workpiece mid-cut . Stop and pull down the Z step tool, damaging my work piece. In short, this is probably a good cutter for what it is. If everything was like the picture it would be 5 stars. It's not, and I hate being one of those "it's not what the picture shows, 3 stars" type, but it's far from what I expected, and suffered in my setup Performance and reliability underneath. 3 stars until I invest $400 in the Z-axis lead screw
