This durable penny board is a great first option for kids just starting out in skateboarding. It's very small, so you'll need to get used to leg placement and balance. Works great on paved roads (or even indoors on vinyl or wood floors if you're desperate 😊). We ordered this for one child and a very similar one for another. Have fun! The steering is difficult and when they start going off course they don't understand how to correct the course, I think it might be beyond their ability. A regular wooden board or longboard would be more comfortable to balance and float on, but it's definitely the best option and an inexpensive way to try.
