I bought this during a Prime Day promotion which I couldn't resist. I was skeptical about its practicality, but my desire to have something new while relaxing by the pool overwhelmed me. While I happily pour a beer for a friend, the maintenance/replacement cost of mini CO2 cartridges has become a liability. I know some will say it's a user issue: it's wrong to seal CO2 only to find that half the beer stays flat and debate using new CO2 for just 1/2 keg . It became so problematic that it made more sense to carry ice cream cans the old-fashioned way. Perhaps owning a large keg makes filling for a large group worthwhile, but the 64-ounce version holds about 4 x 16-ounce cans (carbonation and foam make all 4 cans unreal), which comes in handy if you're cramming a mug want to share with 5 or 6 friends or a few rounds less.
