Build quality is below average for $100. Handle and faucet are made of plastic, which is deceptively reminiscent of chromed metal, the faucet handle is also made of cheap plastic that seems to break easily. It's like the new one you find at Ross or TJ Maxx at 60-75% off.

I recommend Growlerwerks Ukeg. As other users have said, it's very easy to use and does what it says on the tin (keeps drinks cold and fresh for days). I used it to take an IPA with me on a hike and loved how easy it was to pour a cold fizzy beer. whenever I wanted. It also looks really cool and became a hit at neighborhood barbecues after I filled it with soda margaritas. Now I know what advice to give my friends to give their husbands for their birthday!

Why is it taking people so long to come up with something like this? I like it. We drink LaCroix but there is an issue with cans, portion sizes etc. We use a jet of soda but you can only carbonate the water and you can't take it out.
