Not All Plastic Is Lightweight

I would like to start by breaking down the impression that just because they are plastic they are fragile. As with anything, how well something works for you depends entirely on how you plan to use it. Due to the design of inserting long-handled items like brooms upside down, I think this suits the task well. If you intend to use it for heavy gardening equipment such as shovels, axes, pitchforks, etc. then no, this is not the right product and I don't expect to find anything strong for less than thirty dollars, it's just that's unreasonable . I am fortunate that my new home has a very nice workshop and storage shed right out the back door. To me, this is way better than using my garage for things like I used to do in my old house. The barn is larger than average and I'm upgrading it to make the most of every square inch. A huge luxury for me is that it has a nook that's perfect for storing all of my brooms, mops, vacuums, and their associated cleaning supplies rather than cluttering up my kitchen or laundry room. As a corner space, this shelf is great and allows me to store the maximum number of items in the minimum space. It has holes on the sides that allow me to attach it directly to the shed's 2x4's to keep the rack from tipping over. And although the shed has a 10 foot ceiling, I don't have 10 foot arms, so 20 inches is just enough to hold the tools upright, but it's also very easy to get them out for use. I've looked at dozens of similar options. and none of them are designed that effectively. They're either too tall, making it difficult to lift the tools up and out of the holes, and increasing the likelihood of them tipping over. And most other brands are trying to do too many things, the Rubbermaid Corner Shelf is basically just round holes with matching round indentations in the base to hold the item in place without tipping over. Yes, it's plastic, but it's a heavy-duty plastic that's good for what it's designed for. In my opinion, it might be more useful if they designed it with more standard sized smaller holes. broomstick or mop. There are few of them, and then many larger holes and slots that are less useful for ordinary household items. My only question is where did they get that it comes with 30 tools. It's a stretch, there are actually half as many usable holes, and unless you're storing pool cues they don't take into account that mops and brooms can't be clamped tightly together, you need space to accommodate the working end of the cue. Tool. I'd say it holds about 15 long handled items comfortably. With that in mind, live up to your expectations, it might not be as good as it could be, but it's definitely worth what they're asking.
