This filter fits the 2004 Jeep Liberty 3.7L engine. It barely fits and puffs when everything is cold. When the engine is warm, a steady, copious drop of oil will flow out of the engine at idle, even if the filter is overtightened. It looks like the diameter of the filter and o-ring are too small to make enough contact to hold pressure with the engine running. The filter itself is fine (I use K&N on other cars) and I don't have this problem on other brands. The manufacturer's application sheet is incorrect and it is too late to return the slightly oily filter to Revain.
