I needed a tray that would allow my cat with arthritis and kidney failure easy entry but also prevent my dog from chewing on her poo. Despite the high price, it seemed ideal and attractive enough for an apartment. Assembling it was easy for the most part, although I was a little worried I'd break it given the amount of pressure required to snap the sides together. The reason I couldn't save this is because it's absolutely useless against cats pissing up. The interior design leaves all those gaps and craters that allow urine and dirt to get in and make cleaning difficult. As I moved the box, the perfect form of coagulated urine poured from its walls. I gave her three stars because if you have a cat that doesn't lift her butt when she pees, you'll be fine. Also worked well against my dog and the cats loved laying on the top scratching post/bed. If you have a cat that really wants to go high, don't waste your money. It took me 30 minutes to clean it well enough to return it after just two days of use.
