This headlamp puts out an incredible amount of light! You can hardly get away from it in high beam, especially not at the speed limit. In low beam at slower speeds than on the motorway it illuminates most of the area in front and to the side and that's more than enough and REALLY beats a standard bulb. No one blinked at me with the high beams on, suggesting that that bulb was too bright in their eyes, which initially bothered me. It draws a lot more current, but that matches the power of the on-board network and doesn't cause any problems. I've been using it for many months now and it still works (always). I will never drive without this lamp. If it runs out, I'll take more. That's incredible. It's a lot cheaper than LEDs and probably gives better light.
