I installed this light on my band saw because I needed good lighting to make cuts along the marking lines with a pencil. He is very well suited to this task. In fact, the small circle of light projected onto the work is almost too bright. I like the small size of the light head because I can place it out of my field of vision and still point it exactly where I need it. I installed the base on a store made magnetic base so I can change it very easily. The light's mounting base is a custom size or configuration, requiring you to find your own mounting and wiring solution. All in all, this little light is great value for the dollar.
