Well I'm a little impressed (how quiet it is, how efficient it is and what parts it contains) and a little disappointed (due to the lack of flow). I bought this 2650 gph pump (at 80 watts) to replace a 2450 pump (at 400 watts) because it allows less flow. I need about 1800-2000goh now but I will be expanding the system and I will need a full 2650. My pump, which runs at full speed all the time, doesn't allow anything else. Connectivity options, the best I've ever seen. The controls are easy to use and the pump is virtually silent. But its flow rate is about half that of my 2450 gallon per hour pump. . and this despite the fact that half the flow of old pumps was diverted into the sump. So more like 1/4 of the actual flow. What a pity. If it really did deliver 1500-1800 at 2 feet head, this pump would be perfect. Now back to the search.
