I'm an overnight security guard and fairly avid fisherman especially at night. I'm basically nocturnal. I needed something bright that wasn't too bulky that I didn't have to keep dumping batteries into and this delivers on all accounts. Comes with option of a 26650 rechargeable battery complete with its own charger as well as a cilynder you can put AAAs in for backup. Water resistant, telescoping, and not too big for a pocket. The fully scoped in beam shines insanely far for how big the light is. Almost as bright as my big mag light that takes 4 D cells. Batteries on that big one got too expensive and it was too bulky to carry. This flashlight is perfect for nearly anything I could need it for.
