You get cheap speakers at a low price. Given all the great reviews I was expecting something amazing but got something mediocre. It's a pair of speakers for $38, so don't expect anything amazing. Here are the issues I had with it: One of the mounts was broken out of the box (delivery?). I ordered a silver color - the speakers were silver, but silver because someone had painted them silver (might have painted your favorite color). The woofer mount is bent metal bolted on with screws, you need to look at that and if it's loose bend the mount again before installing or I bet they'll rattle. I expect them to start rattling after a while as this attachment comes loose. However, this is easy to fix. However, if you want cheap, installable speakers, they should work. I was looking to replace a couple of worn in built speakers and they were a similar size. Unfortunately they didn't quite fit, but the woofer did fit in the old speaker so I took the woofer out of them to replace the broken ones in the old speakers and painted the old ones. Why not paint, they've been replaced with paint anyway. The woofers are cheap but sound good. Not great, just ok. OK was good enough for the place they were installed. Just don't expect five star speakers at this price point. They're ok, cheap, but they work.
