Smells like plastic on first try, even after cleaning the cartridge. One of the tools came a little rusty, but other than that I like it. As expected, my skin cleared a lot for the first two weeks, but after that it helped my skin a lot to clear up. Haven't had hot water yet. but to avoid this I usually stop 1-2 minutes before the expected stop time and don't make my face until the steam comes out at a constant rate.
