I have many ideas for these sketchbooks. I've decided that with all this distance learning, screen time should be kept to a minimum, and I don't let my kids watch videos unless they're educational. The ABC mouse app and its school programs are allowed and cartoons are limited to 30 minutes per day. I bought these notebooks as my 5 year old loves to draw, but they helped me teach vowel sounds, letter sounds, math problems and of course we play Pictionary! I like that they are light weight so if a 2 year old throws a tantrum and he flies it will do minimal damage lol. We take them on car rides and I feel better than when they watch YouTube videos unsupervised. Overall, it's great and serves a good purpose, especially if you're trying to entertain kids offline.
