Small, ideal for parrots. There are two compartments. One under the perch and one in front of the perch where the seed will be placed. They are separated by a piece of Plexiglas. Seeds from the front compartment are thrown into the compartment under the perch. The perch is in the middle of the compartment, making it difficult (space wise) for birds to get to the seeds thrown under the perch. I asked my husband to drill holes closer to the hole and we moved the pole closer to the hole to give the birds enough room to get to the seeds under the pole. Now it works great. I'm thinking of getting another one for my boys.
