The audio output is of poor quality.
Detector does a good job of detecting flammable gases (double checked). However, the alarm performance is nowhere near the advertised 85 dB. I measured it and the alarm on the detector was 78dB, with an ambient noise level of about 72dB. I can't believe UL listed this device with such a low alarm output. I would advise against buying this device if you expect it to wake you up or hear it in another room. This is particularly critical for SO.
