This arc lighter works as advertised. It's fairly compact, lightweight, and rechargeable. It measures just under 9 inches long and is easy to use with one hand. It works great with candles and only takes a few seconds to light and ignite the wick. It is also excellent for grilling. durable and pleasant to the touch. It has a two-stage safety ignition system, but it's on the same switch. The only issue I have with this lighter is that the two stage fuse is on the same switch and it doesn't take much effort to slide it forward and press to ignite it. It can be a problem if you have a child in the house. The lighter is charged via the micro USB port on the other end of the lighter where the hanging hole is. A short, inexpensive micro-USB charging cable is included. During the charging process, the indicator lights under the slide switch show the current battery status. The lighter does not work while charging. Overall a very decent arc lighter. It's easy to use and reliable. The two-tier backup is only decent. But for children's safety, it is weak. Anyway, it works fine for me. It does the job.
