Before that, there was Creative Audigy (2001 release), which was already moss-covered (joke). If I'm not mistaken, the final death occurred yesterday, 08/05/2021. The sound of a 20-year-old card has been incredible up to now, to understand! I then installed a new Audigy Fx. I worried a lot about the audio quality, but in vain! Sennheizer monitor headphones that I own have superb sound quality and offer nothing of their own. I changed the system sound settings to 96 KHz, 24 bits. The following are the sound settings: Surround:off Crystallizer: 15%, on Bass: on at 65%, suggested crossover frequency is 80 Hz. Amazing sound quality! The top and bass are both at maximum volume, there is no distortion, and the center is outstanding. The audio is excellent! Using headphones is ideal! also for medium power speakers. I give the card a score of 5. A Creative Sound Blaster X AE-5 is used at home, where the acoustics are much better and the AE-5 performs on a level 5+. I'll proudly award this card 5 points because there is something to compare it to! The motherboard's second PCE-Ex x16 video card slot, in which the x1 card properly fit, was a fortunate addition.
