Review on Tolako Arduino Indicator Channel Official by Bryant Randolph

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works perfectly. simple control relay

Before you give your opinion. I wanted to share some information. I've read a lot of questions and reviews about this device and there seems to be a lot of confusion as to what exactly this relay board is and what it's for. I have been working in the electrical engineering trade for over 30 years. This is a very simple relay control board designed to drive a heavy load (110VAC, 12VDC, motor etc) at up to 10A although I wouldn't really try 10A on this board. This is NOT a power supply, it does not produce an AC or DC output. It's just a controlled switch. I've uploaded a simple schematic showing this relay and how it can be wired to drive a simple 110VAC light source/lamp from an Arduino output. There are many other examples on the internet of how to wire this board. Now my rating. I have bought about 5 of these relays over the last few years. I use it with a Wemos D1 Mini control board and I have 1 control of my smart wireless doorbell (the doorbell button sends a signal to my D1 Mini to close the relay and ring the doorbell). I also have several of these cables in my arcade machines to turn them on and off with Alexa commands. They all worked great and I've never had any problems with them. This is a great board for the price and I plan to buy more for some of the other home automation projects I have in mind.
