Review on LYTek Premium Heavy Weight Painting 15 Sheets by Amy Mcleod

You will receive two pads of 9" x 12" canvas paper for acrylic or oil painting. The paper is thick (215lbs or 350gsm) and appears to be quite waterproof so it won't warp when painting with acrylic. Each sheet is glued to the top of the pad. However, the leaves seem to bend/warp when I pick them up from the backing. I had to press a sheet under a heavy book to straighten it out before using it, but I could usually just bend it with my hands. The leaves have a very fine canvas structure. I was able to see the texture better when I used the oil pastel so I'm including an unfinished image showing this. I think this would work best with acrylic as I prefer the feel and look of a canvas and cardboard to the actual practice of oil painting. These sheets seem to work well with oil pastels, although I had to work on the layering to cover up the texture and make a nice painting.
