Good security - Poor sizing and installation

I bought this screen for my HP Mini 210 netbook and selected the sizing system on the page. What I got was a screen that was exactly the size of my netbook's viewport. My netbook has a large flat frame around the viewing window that is just black and the front is smooth all over. To set this up, the translucent tabs protrude just outside the edges of the viewport, but extend beyond the screen into the viewport by more than 1/8 inch. I figured it wasn't that bad until I started using the scroll bar on the right. The side of the maximized window I was looking at, the tabs didn't let me see where the scrollbar was, also the other tabs were obscuring the view of other things around the edges of the viewport (which I quickly discovered was a lot of those things) . If the screen were 1/4 inch larger on all edges, the mounts would be out of sight. The screen was advertised as foldable to still provide a solid privacy screen but to reduce glare. I flipped mine and the bronze safety reflection changed to gray BUT I didn't see any difference in the highlights. If there's a difference I couldn't see with all my movements, I was able to see the detail of the overhead light just as clearly on either side. Also, when turning the page, a few tabs just popped out and didn't stay on. Terrible installation technique. I contacted the seller about these issues and received no response. Assuming I'm sticking with it, I've attached it with tape that barely touches the edges of the screen and only the top and bottom. Holds the screen in place without significantly obscuring the viewing area. But on my new netbook, it looks as professional as duct tape on a garden hose. If you are ordering one of these for a netbook that has a blank area around the viewing area and the front is flat (no viewing area cutout), order slightly larger than you need to keep the brackets out of view. And if you want to stop the glare, look elsewhere. The security feature works great, but that's all it's good for, but the mount sucks, especially when your viewing window isn't recessed into the frame around it.
