This is my second 160z travel mug. The first thermos (red) is 7 years old and still works great. Cosmetic paint is cracked, dented, open and closed letters on the top are worn. The 7 year old 16 oz thermal mug still closes perfectly, I use it every day and toss it in my bag. I ordered a silver travel mug hoping the color wouldn't peel off easily. Cleaning the lid is a little awkward once everything is disassembled, including the rubber seals. I recommend cleaning the lid thoroughly to keep mold and old coffee residue from spoiling the taste of fresh coffee. Two Kcups with an 8oz Kcup Prep Kit leave room for cream and sugar in the cup. You can still tighten the lid if the coffee doesn't overflow, or leave the lid open. Keeps the coffee hot despite the sub-zero temperatures outside.
