My wife is very smart so I have to pass on her review of this hoop: This is the first bamboo hoop I've tried. They feel great. They are smooth and light. I have always used traditional wooden hoops and they are much better. I like the rounded edges and the fabric fits snugly to the body. I'm not very good at embroidery or sewing myself, but got a few bonus points when I bought them. My wife seems to like them a lot compared to the ones she usually uses. She hasn't asked me to change bolts, sand down bumps, or adjust them at all, so I'd say they're a lot better than the others she's used.
