Review on πŸ”’ G Form Work Inserts Tactical Pants: The Ultimate Protective Gear for Intense Jobs by Michael Custodio

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Rating from a professional carpenter: No.

This review is for G-Form Industrial Knee Pads and was written by my husband who is a professional carpenter. I tested them with a pair of Wrangler Riggs ripstop work pants and found that they initially sat too low in the double front pocket. To do this, I have to pull up the pant leg to align the knee pad with my knee. It's probably more of a pant flaw than anything else, but it's something to consider if you're also wearing a Wrangler to work. They honestly don't offer much of an advantage over kneeling on the concrete floor. I will be going back to my thicker but softer SoftKnees foam pads. These G-shape pads seem to be of really good quality. I just don't understand what their use case is supposed to be - why would you ever want to kneel on something so hard? At the time of writing this article, other reviews have clearly been written by people who have not actually used these pads. I'm a handyman who kneels all the time at work and I've actually field tested them. For me it's a win-win situation. YMMV.
