When I first received this one I was disappointed so I ordered a few others with the intention of returning them. BUT I'm so glad I didn't because it ended up being for the best. * This blanket is the softest I've ever bought. The next size up blanket is smaller from another company and although it has the same coil cover as this one, the other blanket was too small to cover my entire body and my legs or arms were down. This blanket is big enough to cover my whole body and then some more so there are no cold body parts. and even then it wasn't warm enough. I FOUND AN EASY SOLUTION! I started putting a thick blanket on top of the electric blanket and now they all heat up much faster and warmer. You can also experiment with duvets of different thicknesses until you find the perfect combination. *Using a second blanket to achieve the desired result may seem tedious, but in my experience I own 3 different electric blankets from 3 different companies. - I'm pretty sure you have to do this with every electric blanket you buy. You can also choose a large and very soft blanket.
