This sweater is very cute and fits our 8 year old daughter very well. The sleeves are a little long but nothing rolling up the sleeves a little hasn't healed. Not sure what the style is now, but I've noticed that girls' shirts/sweaters sometimes have longer sleeves. The decorative sleeve pattern is on the front and back of each sleeve and really adds to the sweater's aesthetic. Now if the temperature drops, we could factor that into the rotation. All in all a very nice sweater!
