Review on ๐Ÿ›€ Durvet Epsom Salt Poultice - Soothing Relief for Aches and Pains - 20 oz. by Charlie Clayton

Dirty, expensive, impractical

When I first read about it, this thing seemed like a great idea. It's actually insanely sticky, but will stick to everything but the sole of your horse's hoof. Also, you have to use about 1/3 of a can to completely stuff your horse's leg (and I'm not talking about a draft horse, I'm talking about a regular 15.2 hh medium-hoofed horse), making it a lot less economical . how it looks. If you understand that hoof abscesses can occur anywhere other than the sole, then you will also understand that sticking this material to the entire coronet of your horse is impractical and will create a massive sticky mess. Plain old Epsom salt mixed with water to make it a slurry still works better than this stuff and is considerably cheaper. I gave two stars because throwing it away isn't bad enough for me. I still use everything, but I'm definitely not buying extra glasses.
