I bought this because another tea ball broke. It has a screw on the lid for a secure closure. He's bigger than I thought. I can hold twice as much as a standard tea ball. I appreciate the rest plate. The catnip tea I brew at night is now twice as potent with the size of this nozzle and helps me fall asleep. Rough can be used less. I don't have to push it in so I could make it even stronger. With such a low quality of many things, this infuser was a pleasant surprise. I would give it away. It can also be used to flavor soups with herbs that are not needed in the final product. I might use it with bay leaf next time I shop.
