Bicycle tube repair kit

I'm used to old repair kits. This was the hardest for me after using 3 patches to fix a simple puncture that ended up working. But we decided to just put a new inner tube in my son's bike. The adhesive isn't as strong and the patches don't peel off the coating as easily. I'll look for old glue and patches.
