We were unable to assess all of the qualities of winter tires due to the fact that the winter this year did not meet the requirements. The amount of snow that normally falls can be counted on one hand, and there is an increasing amount of slush. In one way or another, I have no grounds on which to reprimand the rubber. I drove without fear into the ice slides, exited the parking lot into a snowy mess, and continued along the icy track in whatever direction I pleased, ignoring what the track indicated to do. The ability to brake on a variety of surfaces requires confidence. Even on the asphalt road, we did not encounter any problems, and the vehicle did not exhibit any "walking." Noise? To be fair, there most likely are tires out there that are quieter than others. Kumho, for example, which had been in the market earlier, gave off the impression of being somewhat more quiet; however, the driving performance offered by Hankook is still preferred by me. In most cases, the level of acoustic comfort is satisfactory. After the first winter, it appears as though all of the spikes are in their proper positions; however, I did not inspect them closely (I wonder whether the spike that was crooked made it through the winter?). In general, I believe that the price paid for rubber is justified. Therefore, the amount of excellence that your money can buy is without bounds.
