Doesn't work with my Wacom Cintiq

I bought this to connect my Wacom Cintiq 20WSX (DVI and USB) circa 2007 to my new 13" MacBook Pro via Thunderbolt 3. Despite multiple reboots/ Plugging and unplugging the Cintiq only displays an image for about 5 seconds and then turns off when used with this hub, not to mention how insanely expensive they can be.
