This controller is basically a poor man's joycon. If you don't have the money to buy a regular joycon, you can buy one. First of all, they are very comfortable to hold, especially if you have large hands. They also look pretty cool. Starts drifting on day one. Worst of all, they drift erratically. I mostly use my switch on my bed, and if I have a joystick disabled and I'm no more than 3ft from the console, inputs are lost. It is INCREDIBLY difficult to undock joycons. The work is putting it mildly. Disabling the joycon is quite a task. They die very quickly, and even when charged with the included cable, the battery life ranges from 1 hour on a full charge to nearly 5 hours. They turn off randomly even when playing in handheld mode. .Vibration is not the HD hum that rolls through the joycon. It's much louder and more random. This can break the glass. If $30 isn't enough for a real joycon and you can wait, don't buy it. If you are looking for a gift for someone and you like the color scheme of these stickers, buy some stickers or learn how to replace the joycon shell. UPDATE September 12, 2020 I've contacted the manufacturer for a replacement and not sure if they've updated their design, but the controller is a little easier to remove, maybe with one hand when it's highlighted, and the battery life has improved extends the 11-hour mark. Range and vibration are more or less the same.
