This charger could be better. It's almost fully automatic, there's nothing to press or toggle on/off, and it has no buttons. However, it allows the user to switch between CAN bus or direct charging methods. The instructions are the worst I've ever seen on a product. I had to read multiple sources and "work with the math" to figure it all out. Seems to work as intended, but the design is the main downside - difficult to learn and work with. Once you figure it out, it's easy. This charger is not ideal for cars and larger vehicles. It takes too long to charge, so the price is too high for a small car charger. Looking at the case, it doesn't appear to be waterproof over the long term. If water gets on it during a rainstorm, I bet the water will seep in. It claims a three-year warranty approved by 10 "nameless" automakers. It's a riot if you ask me. If you're rich and can "find out" anything, buying a charger is a good idea, otherwise I can't rate it better than this one.
