They are good standard hard rubber, such as B. Doorstop. We have what we call smooth wood floors and if you press them right into the door by sliding them a little under the door opening at the bottom and pulling the door lightly on them they work great. There is no slip at all. I am very happy with my purchase. This is after visiting a few local shops and finding cheap ones that didn't work or couldn't find any at all.
