I don't play games on my TV so I can't comment on performance. But for use as a media viewer, this thing gave me a hard time for about 3 days before I sent it back. I've worked so hard to diagnose and fix bugs, crashes and annoyances. At the same time, I posted a message on the Beelink forum to help others. I have about 30 years of computer experience, but this little box blew me away. I was stupid enough not to check the Beelink forum before I bought it. I had a sense of despair reading the despair messages there AFTER my purchase. Also, the forum doesn't have a search function, so you have to scroll through countless posts, just like in the early days of computers! You can't find almost anything! From time to time, Beelink will respond to someone's plight, but most are left to their own devices. When I finally threw in the towel and handed it back, I said goodbye to the forum goers and politely explained why I was leaving. Well they killed my theme! That means there are a lot of negative things that we'll never see, so things are even worse than they appear on the forum. I no longer need my TV box because Panasonic sent me an OTA update that fixed my playback issues. with my Viera ex750, but if I ever need it again I certainly won't be experimenting with a box from another manufacturer. I had an Nvidia Shield for 17 months and it was great. until it overheats and dies. I now have a laptop cooler that protects every device I connect to my TV. You can't win with the Shield cooler. Just make sure it stays cool. If you're thinking about experimenting, buy this dedicated beta tester. Not . you have been warned
