The scooter was easy to assemble, just tighten three screws on the steering column and it was ready to ride. It was a little tricky to align as you have to look up to make sure the handlebars line up properly with the front wheel, but then you have to go down beside the wheel to tighten the bolts which make it easy when tightened align, so I had to do this multiple times before I realized it was correct. The scooter rolls well and is easy to control. To brake, simply press your heel against the metal piece above the rear wheel to push against it, increasing friction on the wheel and slowing you down. My son likes to ride it. One issue I noticed right away was the sticky handle where you stand, it was almost completely ripped off and twisted on both sides. I had to push it back in and press around the edges to make it stick again, but it's still not quite right and keeps puckering in various places. So the decal must have been applied from a roll and rolled up tightly to begin with and also doesn't have a very strong adhesive to hold it in place. Yes, just a little annoying. Otherwise the scooter is great.
