I've had a tall boot brace on my injured right leg for about six months. My shoe size is ladies 8…. And first I bought a medium size which worked really well but just wasn't very snug over my shoes and sometimes slipped off the heel...so I used an extra strap to secure it which I threaded through the top. After six months I decided to order a small size which fits more securely and holds up a bit better. For $30 it's a pretty good product and the lift is perfect...Now I can walk normally in a boot. So ultimately I would advise if you are a woman with shoe size 8 or smaller I would order a small. If your shoe size is an 8 1/2 or larger I would choose medium.
