Nut, washer and bolt loose

Reminder: if you buy YesWelder Flux-135, please check it carefully. When I unpacked my unit, I found a loose nut and washer on the bottom of the box. I looked all over the block and couldn't figure out where they were and when. I then looked at the gun and found that they were used to hold the suspension. Unfortunately I couldn't put them back on because the puck was too big and didn't fit. As I finished my inspection of the block, I noticed (inside where the wire is installed) that another screw was loose. A 2 inch bolt is keyed under the tensioner. It was inserted tight enough that I couldn't pull it out with my fingers. At this point I decided to return the knot. I think I could find a new washer and put in a nut and bolt. But this is the first welder I've ever owned and I didn't feel like I could trust this machine to a novice welder (that would be me). If anything - it's that simple because the hardware was installed incorrectly, what else could be wrong with the device?
