They work well with my Canon cameras (so far)

Although CFexpress Type-B cards are currently prohibitively expensive, they are essential for working with high-resolution video with the latest Canon cameras. I found the 128GB SanDisk Extreme Pro cards to work great with my Canon R5 and Rocketek USB-C reader. SanDisk cards don't overheat and have been reliable so far. There is no way to accurately check the number of read/write or erase cycles for a CFexpress NAND card without "using up" all those cycles and crashing the card. Typically this number is between 20,000 and 100,000 cycles but can be lower if you use it for high definition video and heat the card to over 80Β°C (easily accomplished when recording video). The SanDisk cards appear to be working reliably, but we'll see when we get close to the manufacturer's recommended 2-year replacement period. I don't like replacing $1,200 CFexpress Type-B cards every 2 years, but that seems like the price we have to pay for reliable solid state storage. A word to the wise: Modern computers that ship with internal solid-state drives instead of rotating magnetic media have the same problems. If you're a photographer and value your photo library, back up to slow-spinning (5400 rpm) magnetic hard drives (always more than one). Internal fast SSDs can fail in as little as 3 years and often stop working after 5 years of average use. Data recovery from a failed SSD or primary Fusion drive is almost never possible. you have been warned I only use high quality external fan-cooled magnetic RAID drives (which have an SSD main drive for speed) in my computer. NEVER use flash memory for archiving, it is not designed for that and simply will not store your images securely for long periods of time (years).
