Review on 🔥 Hobart Welding Electrode Storage Can 770073 by Jose Cruz

I know everyone has different opinions. But I think Hobart is one of the best brands in the business. Not top, like Lincoln and Miller, but somewhere in there. So I'm disappointed in this rod holder. Especially compared to the Weld Force rod holder. I drew them here. The Hobart lacks a bottom flange to prevent it from rolling away. The kit also didn't include a separator, which is advertised right on the sticker! What a disappointment. It also lacks the molded lanyard hole found on the other blue tin. And the grip is fine if you have dry, clean hands. However, if you have dirt or grease on your hands, or are wearing welding gloves, this will not provide the best grip when unscrewing the cap. And the overall circumference is slightly smaller. Which is bad for me because it means less rod bearings. The upside is that the belt clip feels a bit sturdier despite being smaller (don't use a belt clip anyway. Seems unreasonable). I like the color too. And the o-ring is just as good as any, so it should hold up well. This is a normal save. But for the price it's not worth it in my opinion. The next time I buy a container, I would rather choose a different brand. 3 stars.
