Super container for storing welding rods. Stores about 2-1/2 pounds per compartment, for a total of almost 10 pounds. I use it to keep several different sticks handy right at the welder and save time on trips to the storage closet every time I need a different stick or stick size. Planning to get a few more.

looks good, I've ordered several different storage holders to see which one is better. this one came first. Nice and durable but the threads are not very good. You have to be careful not to overtighten or the gasket will start to slip out. but the price was good, with care it seems a good product. I'm not sure if the others are better, we'll see

The rubber seal perfectly protects the welding electrode from moisture and rain. I'm not a professional welder and only do light welding around the house and don't use a lot of rod. I had to throw the rod away because of the humidity. It has 4 compartments and I can comfortably fit 2lb 1/8" rod in one compartment plus more for a smaller diameter rod. I know everyone has different opinions. But I think Hobart is one of the best brands in the business. Not top, like Lincoln and Miller, but somewhere in there. So I'm disappointed in this rod holder. Especially compared to the Weld Force rod holder. I drew them here. The Hobart lacks a bottom flange to prevent it from rolling away.
