Our cat lives about three months. She's not our first cat, but I've still read a lot about how to make cats comfortable and happy before we rescued them. One of the standout things was that you can't expect your cat not to scratch your furniture unless you give her something else to scratch. When I saw this scratching post I was amazed at how cute it was but I wasn't sure if our cat would like this style (vertical bar). Well, we're lucky because she does, and it's ridiculously cute. We've had it for about a month and although she completely ripped off the cute hanging ball the rest of the post is holding up great. And did I mention how cute it is? So it's going to be a gamble because your cat might not like it because he's very picky, but if he does, it's going to be a really good scratching table.
