I have been using this particular type of Mr. Coffee maker for many, many years. Changed several times and ALWAYS the same. Until now. I HATE this new one simply because of the filter basket redesign. In the old days, you just twisted the knot, took out the basket, dumped out the used coffee grounds, and put the basket back in. NOW you need to detach the basket from the machine and then try to attach it again. There's a tiny needle that goes in a tiny hole at the top, and an even tinier needle at the bottom that needs to be put in an almost invisible tiny hole at the bottom! Of course, this isn't easy if: 1) you don't have a 20/20 view, 2) the room isn't lit like a catwalk, 3) you're tired or not getting enough sleep
